Who We Are

The Alabama Arts Alliance envisions a future where every child has equal opportunities to discover and develop their artistic talents. We are dedicated to fostering a comprehensive and sequential arts education that enables young people to understand and appreciate their own cultural heritage and that of others. Through professional learning for teachers, collaborations between schools, communities, and cultural institutions, and enriching programs for young people, we position the arts as a vital component of the educational landscape. We advocate tirelessly before policymakers, providing strategic input to ensure the arts hold a central place in education across the state.
