About the Alabama Arts Summit
Our annual Arts Summit is celebrating 22 years in 2027!
Examining the essential contributions of the Arts to all endeavors: fostering an inquisitive mindset; encouraging innovative thinking; and championing the interdisciplinary integration that drives progress and expands the boundaries of human knowledge.
The Summit gathers people from all endeavors and professions, who share a desire to improve education, the economy, and quality of life for all Alabamians through the arts.

Over 200 Alabamians gathered at the Red Mountain Theatre in Birmingham on April 13-14, 2026, for two days packed with inspiring topics and expert-led conversations!
With a wide variety of breakout sessions to choose from, attendees were able to customize their Summit experience to explore the ideas and issues that matter most to them.
