Accessibility

In response to the need to ensure equal access to electronic and information technologies, the Alabama Arts Alliance has adopted the State of Alabama set of standards for Web page design. Just as environmental obstacles have inhibited individuals with disabilities, the Web poses an entirely new set of obstacles. In recognition of those individuals with visual, physical, or developmental disabilities the Alabama Arts Alliance has adopted a policy to make government information accessible to all. We are working on converting all documents to be accessible.

All Alabama Alliance for Arts Education programs, services and facilities are fully accessible to all segments of Alabama’s population. The Alliance offices and facilities are barrier free. As a partnership program of the Alabama State Council on the Arts, we have adopted the policies and practices of the Council.
