In this lesson, participants will learn about music production as an instructional medium. Participants will learn how to navigate Soundtrap, how to use the loop browser, sound formatting, and some creative tricks.

Putting it all Together: Illustrated Project Portfolio

Using the iMovie application on an iPad, Nancy demonstrates how to put all the various files together to create an illustrated movie: Music or sound effect files created in Soundtrap, and images or videos created in Procreate.

Melodic Stories: Creating Song Lyrics

In this lesson, Karmessa talks about how to write song lyrics, which is storytelling put to music. Lyrics should tell a story, have meaning and most importantly, make sense.

Art Explode

In this lesson, Val Jones and her friend Elishaba Larson, will show you how to create an Explosion Box to bridge the concepts of various literature genres and engage student creativity.

Designing Arts Integrated

In this narrated slideshow, Nancy talks about how to design an arts-integrated lesson plan, and what arts integration is compared to arts enhancement.

Getting Started with Procreate

In this lesson, Nancy gives a tutorial of the various features of the Procreate application, as well as demonstrates basic drawing and painting techniques.


Journey to the Center of the Earth

In this lesson, students will be using their bodies to go on a journey to the center of the Earth, exploring the shapes and movements of the different layers.

Red Bellied Turtle: Drawing and Painting Endangered Species

In this lesson, blind artist Ricky Trione demonstrates how to draw and paint a red bellied turtle by feel, starting with a contour line and finishing with fingerpainting.
